Electric Deluxe Presents is coming to Roma this summer!

On June 11 Speedy J is bringing his globe-trotting party brand to Spazio Novecento for the very first time with three roster acts fans of the label should be well accustomed to.

First up, Giorgio Gigli will get the floor nicely loose and limber. Since the release of ‘The Right Place Where Not To Be’, Gigli’s dense and sumptuous soundtrack to a film that never was, he’s teamed up with visual artist Lord Z to bring his post-apocalyptic debut album to life. In May their new live A/V show premiers at Spring Attitude Festival, here in Rome. Expect all that record’s drama, tension and richness of sound packed down tightly in a pensive opening DJ set.

Then BEK Audio’s Gary Beck will pick up the pace. It’s been few years since ‘Egoist’ graced the label, but it has aged into a vintage club classic that never fails to get the right response. Being perpetually on the road has kept his selections razor sharp. The Glaswegian can certainly roll them out as hard and fast as the rest of them.

Finally, AnD will slam the evening home. They’re not nicknamed the sledgehammers for nothing, and “harder!” is a battle cry they’ve been waging war with for many years. If you’ve managed to catch Andrew Bowen and Dimitri Poumplidis in full formidable action, you’ll know there’s nothing quite like one of their cataclysmic closing gigs.

Of course you all know what the chief is capable of, but no two Speedy J sets are ever the same. Visuals from our in-house ocular extraordinaire Florence To rounds off the bill, totalling a night of technicolour techno that’ll seem to last forever until it leaves you screaming for more.
